How we handle your SAP data
AugmentX sits between your documents and your SAP system. That is a position of trust, and the questions your IT team will ask about it are the right ones. Here is how it works.
You decide who gets access
Nobody is provisioned automatically. You choose which of your people get an AugmentX account, and what each of them is allowed to do. The extent of that access — which products, which processes, which actions — is configured in the AugmentX admin dashboard and can be changed or withdrawn by you at any time.
We park. You post.
AugmentX never posts to SAP. Documents, matched items and proposed master records are validated against your business rules, then parked as transactions or drafts awaiting release. Low-confidence items, exceptions and possible duplicates are flagged for review. The final posting decision is always a human one, taken inside SAP by your own team.
Every action is traceable
Document processing, matching decisions, master data changes and every parked transaction are logged, with the source document attached to the SAP record, so an auditor can follow any entry back to the paper it came from.
You control the connection
Integration uses SAP access, credentials and technical configuration that you provision and can revoke. Scope is agreed in writing before any connection is established.
